Free 60-Minute Apple Ads ROAS Audit

Book a free audit session with a senior Intent+ strategist. We screen-share your Apple Ads account live and walk through the 10 diagnostic points that explain most ROAS underperformance. You leave with a prioritised fix list — not a sales pitch.

What the Audit Covers

The audit follows the same 10-point framework we use internally on every new client account. Each point corresponds to a structural decision that either compounds or destroys ROAS in Apple Ads accounts.

Point 1 — Campaign Structure

Is brand traffic separated from category and competitor traffic? Structural mixing — running brand, broad, and competitor keywords in the same campaign — is the single most common cause of budget inefficiency in Apple Ads. It inflates average CPI by blending high-converting brand terms with low-converting discovery traffic, making the account look better than it is and hiding the true cost of new user acquisition.

Point 2 — Keyword Coverage

Are you bidding on the full set of high-intent terms your category converts on? Most accounts have significant keyword gaps. We run your app against our category keyword database and show you the terms where competitors are getting impression share and you're not present.

Point 3 — Bid Efficiency

Are your CPTs calibrated to conversion rate at the keyword level? We benchmark your bids against category averages and identify keywords where you're overbidding relative to conversion performance — and keywords where you're leaving impression share on the table by underbidding.

Point 4 — SKAN 4 Conversion Value Mapping

Is your conversion value schema mapped to revenue events — deposits, subscriptions, purchases — rather than installs or opens? Apple's algorithm optimises toward whatever signal you give it. Accounts still optimising against install-level events are giving the algorithm the wrong instruction and getting the wrong users.

Point 5 — Budget Pacing

Is spend distributed correctly across campaigns and time periods? Budget pacing errors create artificial delivery gaps, skew performance data, and cause the algorithm to lose learning continuity — which shows up as erratic CPI swings that teams misattribute to auction volatility.

Point 6 — Ad Placement Mix

Are you running across Search Results, Today Tab, and Product Pages? Each placement has a different intent profile and requires different creative strategy and bid levels. Accounts running only Search Results are missing significant high-intent inventory on competitor product pages.

Point 7 — Creative Quality

Are your ad creatives tested and optimised for the placement type? Default auto-generated creatives — assembled by Apple from your App Store screenshots — consistently underperform purpose-designed assets in both CTR and conversion rate. We review what's running and flag where creative is limiting performance.

Point 8 — Custom Product Pages

Are you using Custom Product Pages to match ad messaging to landing page content? CPP alignment directly affects the conversion rate from ad tap to install. Sending all traffic to the same default product page loses the relevance signal that CPPs are designed to capture.

Point 9 — Competitor Positioning

Do you know which keywords your top 3 competitors are targeting and what their estimated CPTs are? Competitor blind spots lead to two predictable outcomes: wasted spend defending terms that competitors have already de-prioritised, and missed share-of-voice opportunities on terms competitors are under-investing in.

Point 10 — Reporting Integrity

Is your ROAS calculation cohort-based, or are you dividing this week's revenue by this week's spend? Period ROAS — the most common calculation method — is a meaningless number because the installs driving this week's revenue came from last month's spend. We check whether your reporting framework produces a number that can actually guide budget decisions.

Who the Audit Is For

The audit is best suited for iOS app marketing teams currently spending at least $5,000 per month on Apple Ads. You should have account access available during the session and ideally be connected to an MMP (Adjust, AppsFlyer, or Branch) for attribution data review.

Common situations where the audit delivers the most value: CPA has risen over the past 90 days without a clear explanation; the team is preparing to scale spend significantly and wants structural validation first; a new hire or agency transition means a fresh set of eyes on the account; or ROAS numbers from Apple Ads, the MMP, and finance are diverging and the team can't identify why.

What You Get

A 60-minute live account review, a written summary of the top 3–5 structural issues found, and a prioritised action plan with the expected ROAS impact of each fix. No contract required. No obligation to use Intent+ after the audit.
